Abbott connects digitally with trade show attendees

Abbott Laboratories sought an innovative way to develop a turn-key trade show handout application that encouraged physicians to access online information about their line of health care products.

The solution was stunning, The USB Group created a customized USB Insert webkey application that allowed Abbott to physicians to connect to a protected preloaded PDF catalog when plugged into a USB port. Physicians accessing the catalog obtained information about the line of health care products available to consumers. The solution also comprised of a dimensional mailer, with a custom detachable die cut USB, created a novel experience for doctors when they received the mailer. The package was given away at tradeshow.

Results were overwhelming, within two weeks, the campaign yielded a unique 18% response rate, with an ultimate total response rate of 28%.
